Foodo Traditional Wrestling
Traditional wrestling in Sèmèrè is a game that is played every year in the month of August. It takes place after the ceremony of the New Yam feast which is a ceremony which must be done before eating new yams.
After this ceremony, a game of wrestling starts early in the morning and in the afternoon after 5:00pm for three days. This wrestling takes place in the public square and is organized by the residents of Sèmèrè.
